Lesotho is an independant nation landlocked in north eastern South Africa. Known as the mountain kingdom, it holds the highest waterfall in southern Africa - Semonko Falls (700feet) on the Maletsunyane River. Our group of 5, plus 6 South Africans, hiked into the base of the falls to start a multi day first descent of this beautiful canyon.
